Havant is a really popular college, so although we accept applications at any time during the year, try to apply as soon as possible in the Autumn Term. If you have not chosen your subjects, we can help you with your individual study programme in your interview.

A chance for you and your parents to meet teachers and students, take a good look round, get a feel for the atmosphere at the College and ask any questions you like.
Staff are also available for careers advice and information, learning support, transport and student finance.
Once we have received your application you will be invited for your interview. This will be informal, giving you the chance to discuss your personal course programme and find out more about the College. Once you have completed the interview and an appropriate course programme has been agreed with you, we would like to be able to offer you a place at the College. You can choose to confirm your place in the interview or send back your acceptance to us a few days later.
Student Shadowing Starts
A great option if you’re in Year 11 is to come and spend some time in College with a current student already studying the subjects you’re thinking of doing or have already applied for. To find out more, please email email@example.com

In July, after your GCSE exams have finished, we invite all our applicants to the College’s Induction Day. This day is an opportunity for you to meet your teachers and make friends, attend masterclasses, ask questions, find out about enrichment opportunities and attend our BBQ and carnival afternoon.

We offer free full and half-day workshops to our applicants. It’s a great opportunity to meet our teachers, make new friends and learn new skills. Our Team Havant sports trials also take place during Summer School. If you are an applicant, we will send the invite and event programme to you in the Spring Term. Once you have confirmed your place with us, we will write to you over the summer with an enrolment interview which will take place in the days following GCSE results day. During this interview we will help you to decide your final course programme.
GCSE results day
Collect your results and celebrate all your achievements. Advice and support sessions are available where we will work with you to find the right course programme for you.
Enrolment starts post GCSE results.
Start with us
You’ll start at the College on the week commencing Monday 4 September 2017. Your first day will include a Tutor welcome and a Fresher’s Fair where you can sign up to clubs and societies. You’ll also become a member of the Student Union.
