Why study Psychology?

A really useful addition to any A Level or GCSE programme. You’ll need to be enthusiastic, organised and hard working. Psychology combines theoretical study and practical activities to help you understand human and animal behaviour and how the mind works. You’ll visit Marwell Zoo and London Psychology conferences on this course.

What will I study?

Topics include Perception & Illusions, Why We Dream, How Do We Develop Phobias, Does Watching TV Make Us Aggressive and Are Criminals Born or Made?

How will I be assessed?

You will sit two 1 1/4 hour externally assessed examinations on Studies and Applications. Students are also expected to submit other informally assessed pieces of project work and regular short test papers so that individual progress may be monitored.

What are the entry requirements?
