WHY NOT STUDY A THREE YEAR GCSE PROGRAMME AT HAVANT SIXTH FORM COLLEGE
If you are unsure about your GCSE grades, one path you should consider is the Havant Sixth Form College GCSE Programme. We offer a range of GCSE subjects, all of which are completed in one year. This allows you to continue onto an A Level Programme, following success in your GCSEs.
A GCSE can also be a good addition to your A Level and/or A Level Equivalent programme, enabling you to study something new at a more manageable level; it can also help you prepare for a specific subject at university.
The Government requires every post-16 student to be working towards GCSE Mathematics and English at grade 4 or above, if they do not already have it. This means that if you do not pass Mathematics and/or English with at least a grade 4 you will be required to study it at college until you achieve it.
For the full GCSE programme you need a minimum of two GCSEs at grade 3 or above.
